Chew Green require equipment and software to support the launch of a Hybrid E-Bike Hire and E-Bike-Share system Spring 2018.

Full documentation can be requested from

Key Points:

1/ Suppliers must be able to demonstrate a trading history of over five years, with the ability to provide training, support and parts supply.

2/ Suppliers must be able to demonstrate that products are of sufficient quality to stand five years intensive use in a harsh environment.

3/ Bikes supplied to the scheme must be attractive to the UK consumer market and capable of long range in the context of challenging topography.   We do not anticipate purchasing cycles  exceeding a Max unloaded weight 24kg, without sufficient range of gearing and battery capacity for use in Northumberland.

4/ Software, GPS tracking equipment, locking hardware and charging equipment required for the scheme must offer a high degree of flexibility, consumer friendliness and security.
